Laura Kippen, Ph.D.
Dr. Kippen is a seasoned marketing professional with nearly 20 years of custom market research, strategic and tactical planning, consulting, and teaching experience spanning a wide range of industries. Her research expertise includes both quantitative and qualitative methods in support of new product development, branding, positioning, segmentation, forecasting, customer and employee satisfaction, loyalty, and retention, and product and program evaluation. Because of her diverse background and experience Dr. Kippen provides a unique holistic business perspective to the interpretation of information which her clients find highly insightful, valuable and refreshing.

As a consultant and through InfoManiacs, Dr. Kippen provides methodological, statistical, moderating/interviewing, and strategic and tactical planning services to client companies, marketing research suppliers, and consulting firms. She has worked with several major companies including Aventis, Janssen Pharmaceutica, Takeda, TAP, Hoffmann-La Roche Global, Roche Laboratories, Dermik, Ortho-Neutrogena, Organon, Alkermes, Sirius Laboratories, Stericycle, Brinker International, Nationwide Financial, Walt Disney World, Canon, Manpower, Royal Caribbean International, AARP, and Lands' End.

Prior to starting InfoManiacs, Dr. Kippen directed the quantitative research departments for several research companies where she was responsible for expanding research capabilities, developing research methodologies, maintaining research quality and integrity, and new business development. It was at these organizations that she gained experience in various industries including pharmaceuticals and biotechnology, hospital and surgical products, health care and managed care markets, financial services, consumer packaged goods, hospitality and food service, light and heavy industrial, and high tech.

She received her Ph.D. degree from The Ohio State University with primary emphasis in experimental economics, statistics, consumer behavior and marketing.
